Estimation of the Bubble Point Pressure of Multicomponent Reservoir Hydrocarbon Fluids

This study developed a novel C-sharp (C#) programming language for the estimation of bubble point pressure (BPP) various hydrocarbon mixtures at equilibrium state. The methodology was based on vapor–liquid calculation using Peng Robinson equation state implementation, thermodynamic and Newton-Raphson’s method successive substitution unknown variables. equal fugacity constraint can be satisfied by obtaining which serves as criterion two or more phases to exist equilibrium. problem resolved searching that will satisfy constraints. Complex performed successively substituting value estimated Newton–Raphson’s reservoir temperature until constraints were satisfied. BPP values eight sample fluids within range 29.32–308.00 atm with an absolute error deviation ranging from 0.00–4.27 average percentage 0.54%. obtained 328.15–398.71 K. procedure is potential approach defined fluid composition irrespective their composition.
